About Us

Deep Search Diving Ltd. is a Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island based dive company that provides professional dive services to the aquaculture and marine industry in British Columbia. The team utilizes one 38ft cabin cruiser as our dive vessel, a 40ft tug with a 20x40 barge, and one 26ft aluminum catamaran for an ROV operations vessel. Deep Search Diving has multiple partnerships with local businesses to accommodate any size of project and demand.

Owner, Dylan Smith, leads a dynamic team of uniquely experienced individuals in each of these fields. Since 2011 Dylan has worked with local communities, family businesses, associations, and non-for-profits to remove a large range of debris from our oceans and lakes. Dylan Smith and Deep Search Diving has accumulated over 190 tonnes of debris removed, recycled and relocated in the last 12 years from our oceans.

Recognizing the growing need for debris removal in the Aquaculture Sector, Deep Search has worked closely with the British Columbia Shellfish Growers Association (BCSGA) and its members. The shellfish industry is comprised of many family businesses, recognizing the financial strain the new regulations being enforced March 31 2023; Deep Search Diving and its crew is proud to continue to offer the coasts most affordable commercial dive rates.
